To complete this custom installation:
. we first removed the B-pillar and attached it to the front edge of the rear door
. the door was then reinforced and had a new "suicide-swing" hinge installed
. GM latches were then incorporated into the top and bottom, as well as the roof and floor of the vehicle.

Once again, this vehicle has been equipped with a 50-inch flat floor, lying just above the frame. Escalades are all-wheel-drive, so the narrowed casters/low sitting height allowed us to work around the transfer case. It has no body lift, and our working width is 28" maximum.
